Artist's Statement

"I would say my pieces are unique and timeless," quotes Jamie Irene of her hand-crafted, wearable art. Her work aims to never go out of style and always make the wearer feel fabulous and fashionable. Each one of her pieces are hand-constructed in her studio in Seattle, WA. A designer interested in many media, Jamie currently focuses most of her artistic energy on felted wool. She maximizes this technique in a simultaneously classic and whimsical manner, incorporating exquisite color combinations. She morphs these materials into all shapes and sizes of women's handbags, hats for everyone, as well as children's backpacks and pillows.
